For physical goods, the carrier you choose matters as much as the payment method. It is what turns a delivery claim into something both parties can check.
Independent proof of shipment
Tracking from a recognised carrier gives the buyer and the seller the same record of what was dispatched and when, rather than one party's word against the other's.
A clear delivery date
The inspection period begins from a documented delivery, so both sides know exactly when the buyer's window opens and when it closes.
Fewer disputes
Most shipping disputes come down to missing evidence. A verifiable chain of custody removes the ambiguity before it turns into a problem.
Before you ship
A few steps taken before dispatch prevent most of the problems that arise later in a transaction. Agree them with the other party while you are still setting the terms.
- Confirm the funds are secured in your Rbcpay account before dispatching anything
- Agree the carrier and the destination address in the transaction terms
- Keep the tracking reference and the dispatch documentation
- Do not change the delivery address after the terms are agreed
- For vehicles and specialist items, confirm what paperwork must travel with the shipment
Vehicles and specialist shipments
Vehicles, machinery, artwork and other specialist items involve documentation that a standard parcel does not. Our experienced personnel can assist with the paperwork that has to accompany the shipment, including guidance on title and lien documentation.
