Popular questions
Do I need an account to use Rbcpay?
Yes. Both the buyer and the seller need a registered account so the terms can be agreed and funds released to the correct party.
Why do I have to verify my identity?
Identity verification protects both sides of every transaction and allows Rbcpay to meet its obligations around fraud prevention.
When is the seller actually paid?
Only after the buyer has received the goods or service and approved it within the agreed inspection period.
Who pays the Rbcpay fee?
The fee can be paid by the buyer, the seller, or split between both. This is agreed before the transaction begins.
Account and verification
Your account is the record of who you are in every transaction you take part in. Keeping it current means approvals, payouts and notifications reach the right place without delay.
- Registered account required for both parties
- Identity verification before funds move
- Account details can be updated from your settings
Transactions
Every transaction follows the same agreed sequence, so both parties know what happens next and when the money moves.
- Terms and inspection period agreed up front
- Funds held until the buyer approves
- Cancellation possible where both parties agree
Payments and fees
What payment methods are accepted?
Accepted methods are shown when you create a transaction and may vary depending on your location and the transaction amount.
How long does it take to receive my payout?
Funds are released as soon as the buyer approves. The time to reach your account then depends on the payout method you selected.
Is there a minimum or maximum transaction size?
Rbcpay handles transactions from small purchases to very large deals. Contact support if your transaction is unusually large or complex.
