How do you wish to send or receive payment
Rbcpay supports a range of methods for funding a transaction and for receiving your payout. The methods available to you depend on your location, your currency and the size of the transaction.
How paying through Rbcpay works
1. Agree the method
Buyer and seller agree the funding method, the payout method and the currency before anything is sent.
2. Buyer funds the transaction
The buyer sends the funds using the details shown inside the transaction.
3. Rbcpay confirms the funds
Payment is confirmed once the funds reach Rbcpay, and the seller is notified at that point.
4. Buyer approves
The buyer inspects and approves within the agreed period.
5. Payout is released
Rbcpay pays the seller using the payout method chosen at the start.
Ways to fund a transaction
Bank transfer
Suited to larger transactions. Funds are confirmed once they reach the Rbcpay account, and the seller is notified at that point.
Card payment
Convenient for smaller transactions. Card funding may be subject to limits depending on the transaction size and your location.
Other supported methods
Additional methods may be available depending on where you are and which currency you are transacting in. Contact escrow@rbcpay.com if you are unsure.
Currencies
The currency of a transaction is agreed by both parties before payment and cannot be changed once the transaction has been funded. If the currency you need is not listed, contact our team before creating the transaction.
Receiving your payout
Once the buyer approves and Rbcpay releases the funds, the payment is final and cannot be reversed through a chargeback. The time it then takes to reach your account depends on the payout method you selected.
- Payout method chosen when the transaction is created
- Arrival time depends on the method selected
- Payments are final once released, with no chargebacks
Before you fund a transaction
Only send funds using the details shown inside your transaction. Rbcpay will never ask you to send money to an account given to you by the other party or by anyone contacting you outside the platform.
- Check the payment details inside your transaction
- Do not ship goods before funds are confirmed
- Contact us if anything looks unusual
